OHIO — Police in Liberty Township are investigating after two people were found dead Thursday afternoon inside a mobile home.
According to authorities, officers responded shortly after 1 p.m. to a residence in the Vintage Village Estates Mobile Home Park to conduct a welfare check. Upon arrival, officers discovered two deceased individuals inside the mobile home.
The identities of the individuals are being withheld pending official verification by the Trumbull County Coroner’s Office.
Police said it is too early in the investigation to determine whether the deaths are suspicious. Investigators are working in coordination with the coroner’s office to establish the cause and manner of death.
Officials stated that preliminary findings indicate there is no ongoing threat to the public and that the incident appears to be isolated. The investigation remains ongoing.
