
MICHIGAN — Police are investigating the deaths of two people who were found inside a Muskegon home on Tuesday.
According to the Muskegon Department of Public Safety, officers were called to a residence in the 1200 block of Montgomery Avenue to conduct a welfare check. Upon entering the home, authorities discovered a 47-year-old woman and a 52-year-old man deceased.
Investigators believe the woman died by suicide. The cause of death for the man has not yet been determined, and officials say the investigation remains ongoing.
“The Muskegon Department of Public Safety extends its deepest sympathies to the families and all those affected by this tragedy,” said Capt. Tim Bahorski in a statement.
