LOUISIANA — The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating after two people were discovered dead Monday morning in a home in the Money Hill Subdivision near Abita Springs.
Deputies were called around 7 a.m. to a residence on Orchard Row after a neighbor dialed 911. When deputies arrived, they found a woman dead near the front door and a man dead inside the home, according to the sheriff’s office.
The sheriff said the neighbor reported hearing what sounded like gunshots the night before. Authorities have not released the identities of the two victims or any possible motive.
The investigation remains ongoing.
