KENTUCKY — Two people were found dead early Friday morning inside a home in the Verda community, according to officials.
The Harlan County Coroner’s Office said a 50-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman were pronounced dead at 3:43 a.m. Their names have not yet been released.
Authorities said foul play is not suspected, but investigators are looking into whether a generator inside the house may have played a role in the deaths.
Both bodies were transported to the state medical examiner’s office in Frankfort for autopsies. The Kentucky State Police and the Harlan County Coroner’s Office are continuing to investigate.
