FLORIDA — The Belleview Police Department is investigating a suspected murder-suicide after two people were found dead Friday afternoon at a residence in the 5800 block of Southeast Babb Road.
Officers responded to the home at approximately noon following a reported incident. Upon arrival, police discovered the bodies of an adult male and an adult female in the backyard of the residence.
According to the department, a preliminary investigation indicates the deaths appear to be the result of a murder-suicide. Authorities have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The identities of the deceased individuals have not yet been made public. Officials said next-of-kin notifications are currently in progress.
The investigation remains ongoing.
