
GEORGIA — A 61-year-old woman and a 2-year-old boy were killed in a four-vehicle crash Wednesday evening on I-75 South at Sardis Church Road in Macon.
According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, the collision involved four vehicles and resulted in two fatalities and multiple injuries. Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones confirmed the woman and toddler died in the crash. A 33-year-old woman was taken to the emergency room for treatment, and two additional injured individuals were transported by ambulance.
Several lanes of I-75 South at Exit 153 were blocked as law enforcement and emergency crews responded. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is working with the Georgia State Patrol to investigate the cause of the crash.
