TENNESSEE — Two people were killed and another was injured in a crash Saturday night on Interstate 40, according to the Memphis Police Department.
Officers responded to the crash around 9:10 p.m. on I-40 at North Watkins Street. Police said two vehicles were involved in the collision.
Two individuals were pronounced dead at the scene. A third person was transported to a hospital in non-critical condition, authorities said.
Police have not released the identities of those involved and have not provided details about what led to the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
