Two people dead following vehicle crash in Wisconsin

WISCONSIN — Two people died last week in a crash on Madison’s east side, Madison Police Department officials said Monday.

The incident occurred around 3:25 p.m. Friday when a vehicle from a local car dealership, out for a test drive, struck a 53-year-old woman’s car as she was turning left into a parking lot on Commercial Avenue. The two occupants of the dealership vehicle, ages 65 and 64, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the crash also caused a second collision involving two other vehicles. One driver was injured but is expected to recover, while the other was unharmed.

The 53-year-old woman is cooperating with investigators and was released following the initial investigation. Authorities said the crash remains under investigation.
