SOUTH CAROLINA — Two drivers were killed in a head-on crash Thursday night on Interstate 385 in Laurens County, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at approximately 10:15 p.m. on the southbound lanes of I-385 near Highway 221. Troopers said a 2024 Subaru was traveling south when it was struck by a 2005 Nissan that was traveling north in the southbound lanes.
Both drivers died at the scene. Their names have not been released pending notification of next of kin.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
