
OKLAHOMA — Two people, including a Lawton man, died Saturday evening in a head-on collision in Grady County, authorities reported.
The crash temporarily closed part of Interstate 44 as emergency crews responded.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a pickup truck was traveling eastbound in the westbound lane near Mile Marker 101 for an unknown reason when it collided head-on with a westbound sedan.
Both drivers were killed in the crash: 62-year-old Dale Gibson of Paoli and 47-year-old Larry Granger of Lawton.
