NORTH CAROLINA — Two people died after a single-vehicle crash on West Vandalia Road late Thursday night, Greensboro police said.
The crash occurred around 11:53 p.m. between Pine Lake Drive and South Holden Road, prompting a closure of the road for about five hours.
Preliminary reports indicate the vehicle was traveling east on West Vandalia Road when it crossed the center line, left the roadway, and struck a tree. Both occupants were pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have not released the names of the victims pending notification of next-of-kin. The investigation remains ongoing.
