MICHIGAN — Authorities are notifying families after a deadly two-vehicle crash early Thursday morning on North Sprinkle Road in Kalamazoo County.
According to the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred just after 5:30 a.m. near East E Avenue. Deputies said a 29-year-old man was driving a Honda Accord northbound when the vehicle crossed the center line into the southbound lanes and collided with a Subaru.
First responders pronounced the driver of the Honda Accord and a 58-year-old woman who was a passenger in the vehicle dead at the scene. Another passenger in the Accord was transported to a hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the Subaru was also taken to a hospital, where they were treated for minor injuries.
Deputies have not released the names of those involved as family notifications are still underway. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
