Two people dead following vehicle crash in Kentucky

KENTUCKY — Kentucky State Police is investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash that occurred Friday evening in Warren County.

According to KSP Public Affairs Officer Katan Parker, troopers responded to the scene just after 6 p.m. in the 8800 block of Kentucky Highway 185, after being contacted by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.

Preliminary findings indicate that 62-year-old Pamela Hayes of Caneyville was driving south on KY 185 when she lost control of her vehicle and collided with a northbound vehicle driven by 36-year-old Elizabeth Kemp of Bowling Green.

Pamela Hayes and her passenger, 60-year-old Ronald Hayes of Caneyville, were pronounced dead at the scene by the Warren County Coroner’s Office.

Kemp and a juvenile passenger sustained minor injuries.

The investigation remains ongoing.
