
KENTUCKY — Two people were killed and two others critically injured in a crash early Saturday morning on Interstate 69, according to the Slaughters Volunteer Fire Department.
The two-vehicle accident occurred around 4:10 a.m. between the Sebree and Slaughters exits. Emergency responders said two individuals were pronounced dead at the scene, while two others were airlifted to the hospital in critical condition.
The interstate was shut down for approximately six hours as crews responded and cleared the scene.
The names of the victims have not yet been released.
The investigation is ongoing.
