Two people dead following vehicle crash in Arkansas

ARKANSAS — Two women were killed and two others injured in a head-on collision on County Road 814 near Green Forest on June 11, according to Arkansas State Police.

The crash occurred around 9:05 a.m. when a 2020 Honda traveling east on a curve crossed the centerline into the westbound lane, striking a 2015 Ford head-on.

The two women in the Honda—26-year-old Dayari Anahi Cifuentes and 18-year-old Floridalma Ochoa, both from Green Forest—died as a result of the collision. One passenger in the Honda and the driver of the Ford sustained injuries.

Authorities reported that weather conditions were clear and the road was dry at the time of the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
