
ARIZONA — Two people were killed and three others were injured in an overnight crash near Tangerine in Marana, according to authorities.
The Marana Police Department said officers, along with Northwest Fire District personnel, responded to the scene around 1:22 a.m.
The crash occurred on the west side of Interstate 10 along a frontage road between Tangerine Road and Avra Valley Road.
Authorities said the collision involved two vehicles. Two occupants were pronounced dead at the scene, while three others were transported to a hospital with injuries.
The identities of those involved have not been released.
Officials said the cause of the crash remains under investigation, and additional details are expected to be released at a later time.
