Two people dead following UTV crash in Ohio

OHIO — Two men were killed in a UTV crash early Sunday morning in Pickaway County, according to the sheriff’s office.

Deputies received a 911 call around 4:25 a.m. reporting a UTV crash in a field in the 14000 block of Yankeetown Pike.

Emergency responders from the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office, Ohio Department of Natural Resources, and Tri-County Fire Departments arrived at the scene.

Both occupants, identified as 42-year-old Mahlon Riddick and 19-year-old Austin Lucas, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities have not yet determined what caused the crash.

The incident remains under investigation.
