NORTH CAROLINA — Two people were killed and another injured in two separate shootings early Sunday morning, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police.
The first shooting occurred around 1:15 a.m. on Queen City Drive near the Rodeway Inn. Officers found a man with a gunshot wound, who was transported to the hospital by MEDIC and later pronounced dead. Police are investigating the incident as a homicide, and no suspects are currently being sought.
The second shooting took place around 2:45 a.m. on Robinson Circle at Atando Avenue. Officers found two people with gunshot wounds. One person died at the scene, and the other was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
