
OHIO — Two men were killed and two others were injured following a shooting early Saturday morning in Cleveland’s Slavic Village neighborhood.
According to Cleveland Police, officers responded around 1:15 a.m. after multiple ShotSpotter alerts indicated gunfire near the Sunoco Gas Station at 7025 Fleet Avenue.
When officers arrived, they found four men suffering from gunshot wounds. A 37-year-old man, identified by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner as Deon Stallings, and a 46-year-old man were pronounced dead at the scene.
A 31-year-old man and a 34-year-old man were taken to MetroHealth Medical Center in critical condition, authorities said.
Police reported that an altercation between several individuals occurred before shots were fired. Detectives recovered two firearms at the scene and are continuing to investigate what led to the shooting.
