INDIANA — Police are investigating a double homicide after two men were found shot to death on the north side of Indianapolis early Sunday morning.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD), officers were called just before 8 a.m. to the intersection of West 43rd Street and Cornelius Avenue for a death investigation.
When they arrived, they found two men with gunshot wounds lying in the street. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not released the identities of the victims or said if they were connected to one another. Investigators are still working to determine when the shooting occurred.
No suspects have been identified at this time. However, IMPD says there is no threat to the public. The investigation is ongoing.
