Two people dead following motorcycle crash in Ohio

OHIO — A man and a woman were killed Sunday evening when their motorcycle crashed on U.S. Route 250, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred at 8:11 p.m. in Goshen Township.

Troopers said the motorcycle was pulling a camper trailer when the trailer began to sway, causing the driver to lose control. The motorcycle went off the road and crashed.

The passenger, 44-year-old Jill Morris, was pronounced dead at the scene. The operator, 47-year-old Keith Morris, was initially taken to Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital and later flown to Akron General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Troopers confirmed that neither person was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
