
FLORIDA — Two men were killed in a head-on crash late Wednesday night in Osceola County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash occurred around 11:40 p.m. on State Road 60 near Mae Bass Road.
Investigators determined that a 2014 Honda CR-V was traveling eastbound when the driver attempted to pass other vehicles. The SUV entered the westbound lane and collided head-on with an oncoming 2003 Dodge Ram pickup truck.
Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
Authorities identified the driver of the Honda as a 54-year-old man from Tampa. The driver of the pickup truck was a 52-year-old man from Greenacres City.
The crash remains under investigation.
