OHIO — Two individuals were arrested in Scioto County following an investigation into drug possession and trafficking, with authorities seizing nearly $30,000 worth of illegal substances.

According to the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office, the Southern Ohio Drug Task Force executed a search warrant around 9 a.m. Thursday at a residence on Duck Run Road in Lucasville, leading to the arrests of Carla Blair, 49, of Lucasville, and Davion Black, 29, of Fairborn.

During the search, officers recovered approximately 329 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine, 125 grams of suspected fentanyl, and 11 grams of suspected crack cocaine.

Additional items seized included four loaded firearms, digital scales, sandwich bags, further evidence of drug trafficking, and $2,980 in cash.

Authorities estimated the street value of the confiscated drugs at $29,440.

Blair was charged with drug possession and trafficking, as well as having weapons under disability. This marks her fourth drug-related offense.

In 2018, she was sentenced to five years of community control for drug charges, but after multiple parole violations, she was sentenced to three years in prison in 2021.

Black faces the same drug-related charges and has additional pending charges from a previous arrest in Scioto County in November.

Both suspects were booked into the Scioto County Jail.

Their cases will be presented to the Scioto County Prosecutor’s Office for potential additional charges.
