OHIO — Cleveland police announced Tuesday that two suspects have been arrested in connection to street takeovers that occurred in September.
Elicia Dix and Reuben Issac Vazquez, both 21, were taken into custody Saturday by Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers during a traffic stop on the Ohio Turnpike in Lucas County.
The pair had outstanding warrants related to the street takeovers, police said.
Following their arrest, the two were transferred to the Cuyahoga County Jail.
Dix faces charges including obstruction of justice, tampering with evidence, disrupting public service, and aggravated riot.
Vazquez is charged with tampering with evidence, disrupting public service, aggravated riot, and possession of criminal tools.
Investigators also seized a 2015 Chevrolet Camaro during the arrest.
The case remains under investigation.
