GEORGIA — A drug raid this week in Bibb County led to the arrest of two people and the seizure of more than $700,000 worth of drugs, cash, weapons, and vehicles.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, the search warrant was executed Wednesday at a home in the 700 block of Key Court by the Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit, with support from the Gang Unit, Patrol Division, and the FBI.

Deputies said the operation resulted in the confiscation of over 50 pounds of marijuana, four pounds of cocaine, 39 grams of crack cocaine, seven grams of ecstasy, and $5,630 in cash. Several firearms were also seized, including multiple handguns and a rifle, along with high-capacity magazines, including a 50-round drum.

Vehicles recovered during the raid included a 1980 Ford F-150, a 2024 Honda Accord, and a 2022 Kia K5. The sheriff’s office estimated the total value of the seizures at $712,630, including $639,600 in street value for the drugs.

Two individuals, Jimmie Lee Jones and Kinjarra Bonner, were taken into custody and charged with trafficking marijuana, cocaine, and crack cocaine; possession of ecstasy with intent to distribute; and five counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. Both were denied bond.

“This is a significant seizure of illegal drugs, particularly in the amounts of cocaine and ecstasy,” Sheriff David Davis said. “The fact that these dangerous drugs and potentially dangerous weapons were taken off the streets have helped make our community safer and have quite possibly saved innocent lives.”
