PENNSYLVANIA — A multi-agency drug operation on Wednesday leads to two arrests and the seizure of drugs and cash as authorities target mid-level drug trafficking with connections to Cleveland, Ohio.
The Lawrence County District Attorney’s High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Task Force leads the investigation, executing three search warrants and serving two arrest warrants.
Jerell Huddleston Sr., of New Castle, is charged with drug trafficking after investigators seize more than a kilogram of suspected cocaine.
Another suspect, Christian Rozier, also of New Castle, is arrested with suspected crack cocaine, cocaine, fentanyl, and psychedelic mushrooms.
Authorities continue to search for two additional fugitives, Corey Lee and Tavin Wise. Officers checked their last known addresses but were unable to locate them.
In total, investigators confiscate $8,414 in cash, digital scales, and drug packaging materials.
The HIDTA Task Force includes the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, FBI North Country Task Force, DEA Task Force Group 66, and the New Castle City, Ellwood City, and Shenango Township Police Departments. Tactical support comes from the Pennsylvania State Police CIRT and Lawrence County CIRT. A search of a fifth residence does not yield results.
