Two people arrested following drug bust in Pennsylvania

PENNSYLVANIA — A joint investigation by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office and the Greene County District Attorney’s Office led to a drug bust and two arrests on Saturday after authorities received a tip about suspected drug activity in an RV parked in Dunkard Township.

According to the District Attorney’s Office, residents reported a noticeable uptick in foot traffic around the RV, with many individuals entering and leaving the vehicle in short periods of time.

Investigators identified the RV’s primary occupant as Gabrielle Lowry, 28, of Uledi in Fayette County.

Lowry was already wanted for a probation violation and multiple bench warrants. When officers arrived to arrest her, they saw various illegal drugs and paraphernalia openly displayed on a table inside the RV.

While Lowry was being taken into custody, a man later identified as Michael Lee Miller, 25, of Uniontown, fled the RV on foot. A deputy was injured during the foot pursuit.

Pennsylvania State Police and Cumberland Township Police were called to assist. Officers eventually located a man matching Miller’s description. Though he initially provided a false identity, he was confirmed to be Miller.

Authorities say Miller was also wanted on a bench warrant in Fayette County for failing to appear in a drug-related case, as well as by the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Office in West Virginia for failing to appear on a burglary charge.

Detectives obtained a search warrant for the RV and recovered pills, suspected crack cocaine, suspected heroin and fentanyl in glassine bags, digital scales, packaging materials, and a pistol believed to be stolen.

Lowry and Miller were both transported to the Greene County Prison. The investigation remains ongoing, and charges are expected to be filed.
