OHIO — Two people were arrested after authorities executed a search warrant at a residence on Avondale Street, the Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office announced.
According to officials, the Columbiana County Drug Task Force led the operation with assistance from the sheriff’s office.
As agents approached the home, they reportedly saw a suspect throw a large bag of suspected narcotics from a top-story window.
Inside the residence, agents encountered Lisa Cunningham and Thomas Akers.
Cunningham was taken into custody on an active warrant and transported to the Columbiana County Jail.
During the search, investigators seized 96 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 28 grams of suspected cocaine, 15 grams of suspected fentanyl, 8 grams of suspected crack cocaine, $519 in cash, and drug paraphernalia and packaging materials consistent with drug trafficking.
Authorities have not yet released details on additional charges. The investigation is ongoing.
