OHIO — Two people were arrested early Thursday morning after authorities seized more than half a pound of suspected methamphetamine during a drug raid in Findlay.

According to a press release from the Hancock County METRICH Drug Task Force, investigators executed a narcotics search warrant around 1 a.m. on Feb. 26 at a residence in the 2000 block of Elyria Street. The task force was assisted by the Findlay Police Department Emergency Response Team.

During a search of the home, authorities said they discovered 11 ounces of suspected methamphetamine along with multiple items indicative of drug trafficking.

Tre Gerlach, 26, and Danielle Rall, 51, both of Findlay, were arrested and taken to the Hancock County Justice Center.

Gerlach was charged with complicity, a first-degree felony. Rall was charged with possession of drugs, also a first-degree felony. Officials said additional charges, including drug trafficking and possession of drugs, are expected at the conclusion of the investigation.

The METRICH Drug Enforcement Unit is supported by METRICH in Mansfield and funded in part by the Ohio Office of Criminal Justice Services. Authorities encourage anyone with information about drug activity to contact the METRICH Crime Tip Hotline at 419-522-7463 or submit a tip through the agency’s mobile app.
