
OHIO — Two men from Indiana were arrested early Saturday after deputies discovered large quantities of suspected fentanyl and other drugs during a traffic stop near Arcanum.
According to the Darke County Sheriff’s Office, the stop occurred around 12:39 a.m. on Grubbs Rex Road near Gordon Landis Road.
During the stop, deputies located bulk amounts of suspected fentanyl, heroin, and methamphetamine inside the vehicle.
The driver, Ethan Green, 34, of Parker City, Indiana, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs (a second-degree felony), tampering with evidence (a third-degree felony), and driving under suspension (a first-degree misdemeanor).
The passenger, Travis Ford, 33, of Farmland, Indiana, was also arrested and charged with aggravated possession of drugs and tampering with evidence.
Both men were taken to the Darke County Jail and are awaiting arraignment. Additional charges are possible pending a review by the Darke County Prosecutor’s Office.
