OHIO — Two people were arrested early Saturday morning after a narcotics-related search warrant was executed at a Lakeview residence.
At approximately 1 a.m. on June 28, members of the Logan County Unified Drug Task Force searched a home at 11767 Williams Drive.
Franklin Hurley, 47, was arrested on charges of trafficking methamphetamine, while 55-year-old Vicki Cooper was taken into custody for a probation violation.
Officials seized a large amount of methamphetamine and other items related to drug trafficking during the search.
The investigation is ongoing, and additional criminal charges are expected.
Authorities credited the success of the operation to the cooperation of several local law enforcement agencies, noting that the bust helped prevent drugs from entering the community.
The Logan County Unified Drug Task Force includes officers from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, Russells Point Police Department, Washington Township Police Department, West Liberty Police Department, and the Logan County Adult Parole Authority.
