NORTH CAROLINA — Two men were arrested on multiple drug charges following a traffic stop Friday morning, according to the Kinston Police Department.
At 11:05 a.m. on May 30, officers from KPD’s D-Squad conducted a stop on Highway 70 West.
During the stop, K9 Kilo assisted in a vehicle search, which led to the discovery of methamphetamine, fentanyl, and marijuana.
The driver, Michael Bridgers Jr., 26, of Macclesfield, was arrested and charged with Possession With Intent to Sell/Deliver Marijuana, Sell/Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance, Felony Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia.
A passenger, Robert Cannon, 33, also of Macclesfield, was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Both men were transported to the Lenoir County Jail and are being held under secured bonds.
