NORTH CAROLINA — The Washington Police Department has arrested two individuals following a firearm and drug investigation conducted last week.
According to the department, the arrests occurred Feb. 28 on West 11th Street near Trade Street as part of an active investigation involving firearms and narcotics.
Larry Jakato Ebron Jr., 20, of Washington, was charged with felony possession of cocaine, carrying a concealed weapon, and resist, delay and obstruct an officer. Police said Ebron attempted to flee from officers during the encounter and was taken into custody after a brief pursuit. He is being held without bond due to pending charges.
Reyondre Satterthwaite, 19, of Weldon, was charged with possession of a stolen firearm and carrying a concealed weapon. He was issued a $10,000 secured bond.
The investigation remains ongoing.
