NORTH CAROLINA — Two men were arrested and nearly 12 pounds of marijuana, multiple firearms, and a large amount of cash were seized during a recent drug bust by Raleigh police.
The arrests followed weeks of surveillance sparked by an anonymous tip in March about suspected drug activity in the parking lot of an apartment complex on Ballington Circle.
Police arrested Chazmonte Brown and Javaughn Washington on multiple drug-related charges.
Washington is currently being held in the Wake County jail under a $100,000 bond, while Brown was released after posting a $50,000 bond.
Authorities say the investigation is ongoing.
