KENTUCKY — Two Manchester residents were arrested for methamphetamine possession following a traffic stop on October 6.
Brandon Lawrence, 33, and Katey Royce, 32, were pulled over at approximately 5:20 p.m. by the London Police Department after an officer noticed a vehicle registration violation. During the stop, a K-9 unit alerted officers to the possible presence of narcotics.
A search of the vehicle uncovered a clear plastic bag containing a crystal-like substance.
Both Lawrence and Royce were taken to the Laurel County Detention Center and charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), first offense, as well as buying or possessing drug paraphernalia.
