FLORIDA — Two people were arrested Thursday following a narcotics investigation by the Bay County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Division.
Deputies said a search warrant was served Aug. 28 at the home of Javylon Wilson, 27, and Shamone Johnson Smith, 28. Both were present when investigators arrived.
Inside the home, officers reported finding about 101 grams of fentanyl along with packaging materials consistent with drug distribution. Authorities also seized two firearms.
Wilson and Smith were taken into custody and booked into the Bay County Jail. Both face charges of trafficking fentanyl over 28 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.
