FLORIDA — Two people were arrested Friday on drug and firearm charges following an investigation on Deer Lake Road.
According to the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office, Century units assisted state fire and arson investigators at the scene, where 36-year-old Natoshia Ramer and 52-year-old William Lindsey Brown were taken into custody.
Deputies said Ramer was wanted on an outstanding Alabama felony drug warrant. During the investigation, she was found with approximately 50 grams of liquid fentanyl and charged with trafficking fentanyl.
A search of the vehicle revealed a loaded .32 caliber pistol and two boxes of ammunition beneath the driver’s seat, where Brown was sitting. As a convicted felon, he was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of ammunition by a convicted felon.
Both suspects were booked into the Escambia County Jail with no bond.
