FLORIDA — A man and a woman were arrested Friday after Hillsborough County deputies seized a significant amount of illegal drugs during a search in Tampa, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) announced Saturday.
The search warrant was executed in the 13600 block of North 20th Street.
Authorities did not specify whether the warrant targeted a residence or a vehicle.
During the operation, deputies recovered:
The bust followed a three-month investigation by the sheriff’s office.
Rashawn Duley, 33, was arrested and faces 22 charges, including trafficking in amphetamine (28 to 200 grams), delivery of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a park, and unlawful use of a two-way communications device.
Mekka Mason, 30, was also taken into custody and faces six charges, including trafficking in amphetamine, possession of cannabis with intent to sell, and possession of cocaine.
The investigation is ongoing.
