ALABAMA — Two Decatur men were arrested on multiple drug charges following a search by the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit on May 13.
According to the sheriff’s office, agents executed a search warrant in the 2100 block of Highway 20 as part of an ongoing investigation.
Prior to the search, agents approached two individuals at a nearby business.
The men were identified as Damian Hernandez, 21, and Isaias Miguel Mateo, 27, both of Decatur.
Authorities say both men were already under investigation. During the search, agents discovered over four ounces of suspected cocaine, a quantity of methamphetamine, marijuana, a firearm, and cash believed to be connected to drug sales.
Following field interviews, Hernandez and Mateo were arrested and charged with Trafficking in Cocaine, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Marijuana in the Second Degree.
Both were booked into the Morgan County Jail and issued a bond of $11,300 each.
