
ALABAMA — Two people were arrested on drug-related charges following the execution of a search warrant at a home in Colbert County on Monday, authorities said.
Agents with the Colbert County Drug Task Force, assisted by the Colbert County Sheriff’s Office, carried out the search warrant at a residence along County Line Road in Muscle Shoals.
During the search, investigators recovered nine firearms and approximately four ounces of methamphetamine, according to officials.
As a result, Rayford Leon Gist Jr., 67, of Muscle Shoals, was arrested and charged with drug trafficking. Teresa Jimenez, 61, also of Muscle Shoals, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
Both individuals were taken to the Colbert County Jail.
