Two people arrested following drug bust at Ohio residence

OHIO — Two individuals were taken into custody following a drug raid at a residence on Old SR-344 in Leetonia, according to the Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office.

On February 28, Sheriff Brian McLaughlin and the Columbiana County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at the residence, with assistance from the Salem and Lisbon police departments.

Inside, officers found Ashley Rhodes and Mathew Bays, along with approximately 282 grams of methamphetamine, various pills, drug paraphernalia, and $376 in cash.

Both suspects were transported to the county jail and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, with additional charges pending lab results.

The Drug Task Force thanked multiple local law enforcement agencies for their support in the investigation.
