FLORIDA — Detectives from the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office, with help from the SWAT team, executed a narcotics-related search warrant on August 8 at the Quality Inn on Reynolds Drive.
The operation, aimed at combating local drug trafficking, resulted in the seizure of about 14 grams of fentanyl, nearly 13 grams of methamphetamine, 4.5 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a package of Narcan.
Two Ft. Pierce residents, 42-year-old Tommy Mitchell Jr. and 39-year-old Charles Warren, were arrested and face multiple charges including trafficking fentanyl, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana under 20 grams, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both remain held without bond at the St. Lucie County Jail pending their first court appearance.
Sheriff Richard Del Toro said the bust highlights the agency’s commitment to removing deadly drugs from the community and holding traffickers accountable.
