OHIO — Two people were arrested Saturday after a man’s body was found in a wooded area in Lancaster, Ohio, police said.
According to the Lancaster Police Department, officers discovered the body near the 700 block of South Maple Street while conducting a well-being check. The victim’s identity has not yet been released.
John T. Scott, 44, of Laurelville, has been charged with murder, while Holly L. McDaniel, 45, of Columbus, is charged with abuse of a corpse. Both were taken into custody Saturday night.
The charges will be presented to a Fairfield County Grand Jury. The investigation is ongoing.
