
NORTH CAROLINA — Two men have been arrested and charged in connection with the fatal shooting of a 16-year-old in Red Springs, according to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office.
Tyron McLean, 30, and Tyrus McLean, 27, both of Red Springs, are facing charges of first-degree murder and felony conspiracy in the death of Tony James Craig, 16, also of Red Springs.
Deputies responded to a call reporting a shooting at 6:01 p.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of Warren Street. Craig was found at the scene with gunshot wounds and later died.
The suspects are currently being held without bond. The investigation is ongoing, with assistance from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.
