VIRGINIA — Two people are in custody after a shooting prompted a death investigation in Petersburg, according to police.
Authorities with the Petersburg Bureau of Police said Wednesday, March 18, that officers are investigating a fatal shooting in the 2100 block of Oak Lane.
Police reported that two individuals were arrested in connection with the incident in the area of Hickory Court and Linda Lane. Details about the suspects and the victim have not been released.
Officials said no additional information was immediately available as the investigation remains ongoing.
