ALABAMA — Two women were arrested late Sunday night after a traffic stop on Point Mallard Parkway led to the discovery of drugs and a firearm, according to Priceville Police.
Officers conducted the stop just before midnight. During a subsequent narcotics investigation, authorities found Ecstasy pills, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and a firearm inside the vehicle.
Nikita Latoya Mahone, 38, of Birmingham, and Erica Raeshawn Harrell, 37, of Graysville, were both taken into custody and booked into the Morgan County Jail.
Mahone faces multiple charges, including Trafficking Dangerous Drugs, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Certain Persons Forbidden a Firearm due to a prior robbery conviction in Pelham. Her bond was set at $377,000.
Harrell was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and is being held on a $10,000 bond.
