OHIO — Struthers police have arrested two women following the hospitalization of a 7-year-old boy who was found with multiple injuries.
The boy was taken to Akron Children’s Hospital in Boardman on Tuesday by his mother. Hospital staff reported to police that the child was unconscious and covered in bruises.
Authorities arrested two women, ages 30 and 33, who reside on Euclid Avenue. They were booked into the county jail on charges of felonious assault, endangering children, and tampering with evidence.
During the investigation, detectives collected swabs of suspected blood from the basement and a dresser shelf at the Euclid Avenue home.
