Two pedestrians struck by vehicle in Ohio

OHIO — Two people were hit by a vehicle early Wednesday morning near the University of Cincinnati in the Heights neighborhood.

The crash occurred at 12:03 a.m. at the intersection of Jefferson Avenue and West University Avenue.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene and determined that both pedestrians sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

One of them was taken to the hospital for treatment, while the other did not require transport.

Authorities have cleared the roadway, and no traffic delays were reported following the incident.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
