Two Ohio residents arrested on drug warrants

OHIO — Police arrested two individuals on active drug warrants earlier this week at a residence on the 300 block of Midway Drive in Washington Township.

Dawn Helton, 33, and Ronald Shoffner, 60, both of the same address, were sought in connection with warrants stemming from a prior traffic stop.

Officers initially made contact with Helton at the residence, informing her of the warrant. She disclosed that Shoffner had gone to a nearby store.

Upon Shoffner’s return, he was also informed of the warrant.

Both individuals were arrested without incident and transported to the Logan County Jail.

The Logan County Sheriff’s Office assisted Washington Township Police in the operation.
