Two killed in Ohio crash, one man potentially facing charges

PORTAGE COUNTY — A Minerva man may face charges following a fatal accident involving two SUVs in Portage County on Monday morning.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the 42-year-old driver crossed the center line on Route 44, north of Randolph, resulting in a collision.

The collision killed 80-year-olds David Moore of Rootstown and Garnett McGlothlin of Atwater, who were both in the same vehicle.

The Minerva man sustained minor injuries. Authorities are investigating the crash, and charges could be forthcoming.
